Mast
The director who has extensive knowledge and experience in the aeronautical industry designs all our masts. This ensures that you will receive a product that is designed to the stringiest specifications.
This design and erection process is patented and can only be offered by us. Industry qualified artisans do the preparation work at our workshop under close supervision by the director.
We use only the highest quality mild steel pressure tested water pipes that are hot dipped galvanized to offer the highest rust resistance in the industry.
The mast has a diameter of 114mm at the base and gradually tapers to the top where it ends with a finial.
04.Erection Process
Before the erection of the masts we install a base that the mast will fit into. This base is planted in a 1m deep plinth. Before the concrete is cast the all- important earthing process takes place. The ground resistance is tested with sophisticated electronic equipment. This resistance is noted on your installation certificate and on the mast.
The next step is to erect the actual mast. We use a patented telescopic method that is the envy of all our competitors. This means that we can place the mast in small confined areas were others can’t. This process is also a lot faster only taking about two hours to complete.
The high quality material we use ensures that no maintenance is necessary. We do advice that you retest the mast every year or after a direct lightning strike.
